Everyone knows that getting the right vitamins and minerals is essential to staying healthy. Eating a balanced diet should be your first step in obtaining these nutrients, but sometimes it's just not enough.
That's why so many people turn to multivitamins as an additional source of nutrition. Here, we take a look at some of the benefits of taking multivitamins.

Increased Energy Levels
Multivitamin supplements can provide you with increased energy levels by supplying your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs to function optimally. Iron, for example, is an essential mineral for red blood cell production and without it, you may suffer from fatigue or general lack of energy. By taking a daily multivitamin supplement, you can ensure that your body has the iron it needs to produce enough red blood cells and thus increase your overall energy levels.
Improved Immune System Function
A strong immune system is key to good health and wellbeing. Unfortunately, when our diets are lacking in certain vitamins or minerals, our immune systems can suffer as a result. A multivitamin supplement can help to keep your immune system functioning at its best by providing it with the necessary nutrients and minerals to fight off sickness and infection. Vitamins C, D and E are especially important for boosting immunity; fortunately they're all found in most standard multivitamin supplements.
Better Cognitive Function
We often overlook how important our diets are when it comes to mental health and cognitive function, yet studies have shown that nutritional deficiencies can lead to poor brain function over time—especially in older adults. Fortunately, taking a multivitamin supplement on a regular basis can help to prevent this decline in cognitive ability by ensuring adequate levels of B vitamins such as folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 which all play an important role in brain development and cognitive performance.
That's Where Tchê Comes In
If you had a really balanced diet, especially leafy greens and those kinds of things, you would get most of the vitamins that you need. Now, we didn't want to take that chance, so we put a complete multivitamin in every serving of Tchê.
We looked at all sorts of different data to basically validate what constitutes a complete multivitamin or an incomplete multivitamin. It's not a super well regulated field, but looking at papers from Harvard, looking at papers from other places, we basically created a list. This is what most people would consider a complete multivitamin. There are some things we left out on purpose because, number one, they're ubiquitous and you find them everywhere. Number two, you need such a high dose that it would affect the Tchê and the way it works.
Basically, we put all of the B vitamins there, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, all of the B vitamins, and a number of other key minerals that you need, including magnesium. It is a complete multivitamin based on those facts. (read them all on our product's nutritional labels here)
We did not put a 100% dose in each one. We put a 50% dose in each instead. Why did we do that? Well, after our own practice of drinking Tchê almost every single day, and other friends of mine who drink it every day as well, it became clear that it is common for people to drink two servings.
And, hopefully you're eating, right? We're expecting most people to get some vitamin value from their diets. If you need a dose of Tchê to get your multivitamin, that's fine too. That's the reasoning of the multivitamin that we put in there.
Conclusion:
Taking multivitamin supplements can provide numerous benefits for people of all ages—from improved energy levels to better cognitive function—and should form part of an overall healthy lifestyle routine along with eating a balanced diet filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. Tchê has the obscure, most needed vitamins for your daily health needs. Not only was it created by a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for his own daily needs, but it's also the best supplement for all of us wanting the benefits of ingesting real plants with all the added goodness that it offers.
