These benefits include improved cognitive function, reduced anxiety, increased physical performance, and calming properties. Taurine is also beneficial for heart health, as it helps reduce blood pressure and improve cholesterol levels. Taurine has been studied extensively in patients with congestive heart failure, and in some studies demonstrated improvement in functional capacity and decreased negative outcomes.


Taurine works on the GABA neuro-cognitive pathway. It helps mediate calm, focus, and rest. Paradoxically, when coupled with caffeine, it seems to have the ability to create a state of calm energy.
